George Clemenceau
George Clemenceau also know as the "Walrus" was the leader of France during the Paris peace treaty and one of the Big Three. His goal was to cripple Germany, so they may never rise to power again. Clemenceau also never wanted Germany to have a military ever again . So they may never become a threat to France again or to anyone else for that matter. Gaining huge reparations from Germany was the next goal for Clemenceau. Reparations were so huge Germany couldn't even pay the interest on them. When Germany failed to pay up, French military would walk into Germany factories and take raw materials for payment. Not only to repair France after the war but to see that Germany economy would never recover. Clemenceau The "Walrus" was out for blood to avenge France. Lots of the factors that lead to WWII were made by George Clemenceau , you could say that Clemenceau sparked the fire that would be the second World War.
